I think it would be more germane to identify WHY 91% of Americans are dissatisfied with the way the country is going than it is to ridicule the 9% that are satisfied.
My point being, I think the country is going in the wrong direction for wholly different reasons than an equally informed Democrat might. I believe rather than having bit into a crap sandwich, we've bitten into a Socialist sandwich courtesy of the Democrats and the media which have indeed manufactured fear and cajoled the current crisis in order to implement more of their "new deal" and "war on poverty" economics.
You do a great deal of injustice to the cause of honestly when you belittle those who are working to expose the cover-ups that the mainstream media is engaging in.
I dare you to present just one post by one blogger that suggests that Americans really are satisfied with President Bush. I am a total Bushie and I think the guy has more than earned his dismal performance rating. But again, for different reasons than Democrats would site.

I could not disagree more with your sentiment here. I was pleased to learn that we are finally REALLY interrogating these savages. They know not any limit to the brutal savagery with which they will commit to kill the infidel.
I think now we need to beat a few heads (and ribs) in Basra where it seem the British are allowing illegality and mayhem to reign. Read Stephen Vincent's articles. We don't need less strong arm tactics, we need more. Just don't let em die.
The average man will plead to his God to save him from the pain long before he will give up any information he feels will compromise their operations. What are you gonna do? Where ya gonna go?

I'll have you shut your mouth right now buddy. My dad raised us kids on money he made designing, updating and maintaining the SSME (Space Shuttle Main Engines for those not familiar) with Rockwell, Rocketdyne Division which is now Boeing and will soon be McDonnell-Douglas or somebody...
But I have to say I (and Dad) agree with you 100% about the state of NASA. A sorry state indeed.
